UCSC Google Calendar

LOGIN to Google Calendar
Login with your CruzID and Blue password (same password you use for email). ITS recommends that you always access your UCSC Google Calendar via a secure web browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
GOOD TO KNOW
- All faculty, staff, and students have a UCSC Google email and calendar account. Since students are now part of the UCSC Google domain, they have access to view staff and faculty calendars. If this is a concern, adjust your Google Calendar privacy/sharing settings.
- You can invite anyone to your meeting by entering their email address into the Guest field of the Create/Event details screen. If the invitee is in your UCSC Google email contacts, that person's email address will auto-populate when you start typing their name in the Guest field. If the invitee is not in your UCSC Google email contacts, you will have to type in their full email address. Instructions on how to add people to your Google contacts.
- If you create a private meeting in Google Calendar and invite people, those attendees can change the private meeting to public, but the change will be visible only on their calendar. Still, there could be privacy concerns. It's good practice not to put any confidential or personal information in the event title or description.
