Configuring an Email Client & Mobile Device using UCSC Google Email
General Client Settings
Settings to configure IMAP or POP for the use of an email client and mobile device programs with UCSC Google Email. If you encounter difficulties, please contact the ITS Support Center.
POP USERS: Messages in Spam and Trash aren't downloaded unless you move them to your inbox or All Mail. ITS recommends checking your mail via the web interface on a regular basis (once a week or so) to review messages that have been moved into the Spam folder.
IMAP USERS: Make sure that IMAP is enabled in your main UCSC Google email settings.

Below is a list of email clients and mobile devices you can synchronize with your UCSC Google email account. Click the name of your email client or mobile device to see instructions for setting it up to work with UCSC Google.
If you already have your email client or mobile device set up to use CruzMail, then all you need to do is change your settings using the General Client Settings mentioned above.
If your client or device isn't listed here, we suggest that you try out the general client settings listed above.
