Canvas Shell Request Form

This form is for faculty and staff to request a blank Canvas shell. The shell will be created, the instructor will be enrolled, and an invitation link will be emailed to the instructor.

Faculty can use Canvas course shells to develop course materials and experiment for future quarters. Materials can be copied into the official course shell once they have access to it.

Development course shells are not for live instruction and students should not be enrolled.

This form can also be used to request Canvas shells for non-academic projects.
