Network and Telephone Service Requests - All orders for new jacks for ITS staff and/or Colo hosting must be submitted through ITS Facilities.
To install a new network or telephone line, or change an existing service (disconnect, move, etc.), open a ticket in IT Request by clicking Request or Change a Service and selecting your request type under Network, WiFi & Telephone. If you don’t know the foapal, contact the budget analyst for your unit.
Keys - ITS Facilities manages all key requests for ITS staff. All ITS issued keys are maintained in the ITS key inventory system.
To request a key, open a ticket in IT Request by clicking “Get Help – Open a Ticket”. Select ITS Internal under “What’s the Service?” and ITS Facilities under “What’s the System/Application?” Please include the building name, room number, key number (if you are requesting a duplicate), business reason for needing the key and supervisor approval.
Forms will be issued when the employee receives the requested key. Keys are to be picked up in person. They will not be mailed through interoffice mail.
Omni lock codes - Omni lock codes are dependent on the location for which you are requesting access. If the space is ITS space, ITS Facilities will process your request accordingly. If the space is not ITS space, ITS Facilities will let you know and forward the ticket on to the appropriate parties.
To request an omni lock code, open a ticket in IT Request by clicking “Get Help – Open a Ticket”. Select ITS Internal under “What’s the Service?” and ITS Facilities under “What’s the system/application?". Please include the building name, room number, business reason for needing the code and supervisor approval.
