RECENT EMAIL SCAM ALERTS - 11/09/09

UCSC receives weekly email scams that are trying to trick you into revealing your personal information such as your password, user ID, or birth date. DELETE THESE TYPES OF SCAMS. DO NOT REPLY TO THE MESSAGE OR CLICK ON ANY ATTACHMENTS.

You should NEVER disclose your password to anyone, even if they say they work for UCSC, ITS, or other campus organizations. These types of scams usually contain misspelled words, formatting issues, and always request for you to reply or submit your personal (password) information.
