New Student Email Service Coming Soon!

UCSC is partnering with Google to offer our undergraduate and graduate students a new campus email experience.

In just a few weeks, students will be able to sign up for a new email service called "SlugMail" powered by Google or continue using the campus email system, CruzMail. Both options allow students to use their existing @ucsc.edu email address.

The campus began exploring alternatives to the current email system with the goal of finding an email option for students that would provide a richer set of features and fewer restrictions on storage. SlugMail will offer students more features and a major increase in storage space. It will also offer access to popular Google communication tools such as Calendar, Docs, Sites, and Talk.

Students will receive an email by the end of September from ITS with instructions on how to sign up for SlugMail. Stay tuned!
