
ITS Programs and Projects In addition to information technology operational activities, ITS staff are involved in projects to support UCSC’s teaching, research, and business activities. This list of projects offers you a view of those projects with information technology components and includes:
- Proposed projects – These are projects under initial review and pending resource allocations
- Approved projects – These are projects approved by ITS and pending official launch
- Active projects – These projects have been launched and are currently in progress
- Closed projects – These projects are closed or completed and in production

Project goals are to gather requirements from campus constituents to evaluate, select and purchase a WCMS solution that will meet key requirements for web content management and presentation. Develop joint operating requirements and procedures for web services created by sharing a common WCMS. Implement a new web content management system. And migrate top-tier and select departmental websites to the new WCMS. |

| Campus Curriculum and Leave Planning (Campus CLP) |
This project will implement a Campus CLP system that will provide department managers, department chairs, and deans with a uniform ability to consistently manage faculty curriculum and leave, preserving the functionality of the existing FileMaker Pro CLP. In addition, provide information to manage curriculum capacity planning in support of students’ degree objectives and have the ability to manage support for GenEd courses associated with the above degree objectives at the campus level. |
