The Baytree Bookstore has a variety of Apple and Dell computers for sale. Dell computers can only be purchased through the online Dell Education website. There is 10% discount for computers and select software. You will also find both types of computers available to use in computer labs, McHenry library, and Science and Engineering library Choosing what kind of computer to purchase is ultimately based on comfort and financial situation. As for whether to get an Apple or Windows computer, there are some factors that you may want to think about. Apple computers are more expensive, less likely to get infected with viruses, and more friendly for students pursuing a desing/art major. For a Windows computer, they are relatively cheaper than Apple computers, more user-friendly, and require an Anti-Virus for oncampus use.
