CruzMail Quota Storage Requirements In order to better manage the available resources for all users, the university has implemented a 1GB quota on CruzMail accounts for all students beginning September 18, 2006. If you are near to the 1GB limit, you will receive an automatic message from the system notifying you that you need to decrease your total storage space. If you go over quota, the system will also notify you informing you that you are over quota and mail will no longer be delivered until you free up some storage space on the CruzMail server. You can avoid having problems with your mail storage on the CruzMail Server by performing some simple mail folder housekeeping. Folders that should be cleared of stored email on a regular basis are your Spam Folder, your Trash Can Folder and your Sent Mail Folder. In addition to this, you will want to delete any email that you no longer need from your inbox or from folders you have created on the CruzMail Web Interface.
