CruzNet CruzNet - Wireless Network CruzNet is the wireless network technology at UC Santa Cruz. CruzNet allows students, faculty, staff and guests to connect to the internet.

Note: CruzNet is NOT encrypted. Information sent or received can be intercepted by anyone connected to this wireless network.

Features and Functions Using Email on CruzNet
If you would like to access your UCSC email on CruzNet, you can do so via your web browser at https://cruzmail.ucsc.edu

Faculty, Staff and Student Access
Using your UCSC ID and password, internet access, CruzMail and certain messaging and chat features are available using Yahoo, AIM and MSN.

Guest Access

Campus guests can use the wireless network for no more than 3 hours in a given period. See the policy below for more information.

PricingCruzNet access is available free of charge to all customers.

Information User

Major changes to charges related to network services are in effect on July 1, 2008. Some charges for network services will be included in the Information User Assessment

    Service Levels CruzNet provides internet access to students, faculty, and staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
