CruzNet Wireless Service Setup for Windows 2000

These instructions assume your 802.11b wireless card is installed properly. If you need assistance getting your wireless card configured on your computer please contact your card manufacturer or vendor technical support.

Make sure you are in an area served by CruzNet. See Coverage Map

On your menu bar, click to open your wireless card icon:

Select the Configuration tab and then type cruznet (lower case) in the Name(SSID) box.

Click the Status tab and you should see that your laptop is connected to cruznet.

To login to CruzNet, open your web browser.

A Security Alert window will appear:

Click: "Yes".

Next, the CruzNet login screen will appear in your browser:

Type in your UCSC login and password to connect.
