MyUCSC
Campus Portal for Academic Information Systems (AIS)

MyUCSC is UCSC's online academic information portal for students, faculty, and staff. Students use MyUCSC to enroll in classes, check their grades, view their financial aid and billing accounts, and update their personal information. Faculty can view and print their class rosters, email their classes, and post grades in MyUCSC. Staff use MyUCSC to view and update student information.

Staff Access to Data Reporting: Cognos
We offer staff access to AIS data using the Cognos reporting tools UpFront, Impromptu, and PowerPlay.

To obtain Cognos access, attend the Intro to AIS Reporting class. You will receive your User ID and password shortly thereafter.

To request a report, email a completed AIS Report Modification and Request Form to ais-reports-help@ucsc.edu.

    Accessing MyUCSC
    Need an Account? Student accounts are created automatically during the admission process. If you are having difficulty signing into MyUCSC, please contact the ITS Support Center at help@ucsc.edu or 459-HELP (4357).

    Faculty accounts are created automatically when the faculty member has been added to payroll. If you are having difficulty signing into MyUCSC, please contact the ITS Support Center at help@ucsc.edu or 459-HELP (4357).

    Staff follow a three-step process to obtain an account:
    1. Fill out and submit account forms to ITS.
    2. Sign up for mandatory Intro to AIS training.
    3. Read our Policy on Privacy of Student Records and take the FERPA Quiz.

    TrainingWe offer a wide variety of scheduled training classes in addition to one-on-one support and open lab sessions with subject matter experts.
