There are many information technology services that new employees receive and use. This guide provides an overview of the services available and how to access them.
Account Information As a new UCSC employee, you are automatically assigned a CruzID, CruzMail, IT Request, and AFS account access. If you haven't already heard from ITS via your alternate email address and you did not fill out your CruzID for at your sign-up or for all other questions, please submit an email to help@ucsc.edu or call 831-459-HELP. Computer Support Services

Divisions and units are responsible for providing computers and software for new employees.

You can connect wirelessly to the campus network from many locations on campus.

Cruzmail icon
CruzMail - Campus Email System
CruzMail is the campus email system. You can access CruzMail using a supported email program or securely on the web using a supported web browser. CruzMail features include a vacation auto-response tool, virus scanning of attachments, and spam scanning.
CruzTime icon
CruzTime - Campus Calendar System
CruzTime is the campus online calendar service for faculty and staff that facilitates group scheduling and shared calendar access. CruzTime is available using a desktop client program or through the web from any location. CruzTime is not used for classroom scheduling.
