Departmental Web Development
Our web design and development team has extensive experience building web sites that are tailored to UC Santa Cruz design aesthetics and business processes.  We will help you design, build, and maintain your department website or find a consultant that can accommodate your needs.  We are also available to answer your technical questions and offer guidance for your web publishing needs.

Web Hosting
Our free web hosting service allows you to publish your department web site without the resources required to purchase and maintain hardware and software.  Web hosting provides security, reliability, and recoverability and reduces risks associated with server down time, file corruption, hacker attacks and slow performance.

Personal Web Pages
We provide personal web site space, free of charge, for any UC Santa Cruz faculty, student or staff member. A personal web site tells your readers about your interests, research, ideas, and hobbies.  Personal web pages may not be used for political or commercial purposes and may not include copyrighted material.
Course Materials Development & Hosting
Instructional Computing staff are available to help instructors create and maintain websites, web applications, and multimedia; help digitize documents; and provide other course-related technology support.

Media Services provides consultation and assistance regarding the production of digital materials for curricular applications.

Faculty Instructional Technology Center (FITC)
The Faculty Instructional Technology Center (FITC) lab provides an exclusive faculty computer lab with software, hardware, and staff support to enable the creation and development of multimedia course materials.

WebCT - Learning Management System
The WebCT Learning Management System is an integrated set of web course tools that can be used to supplement a class taught mostly face-to-face or can be used to teach a course entirely at a distance (where students mostly "go to class" online using the Web with few if any visits to campus).
