Description

ITS provides web serving to campus units. A unit is loosely defined as any academic or administrative organizations affiliated with the campus. Student organizations web pages are available through SOAR. Course web sites are usually arranged through Instructional Computing. For web pages for individuals, see Personal Web pages.

Obtaining the Service

1. Register or request a UCSC account if you don't already have one.
2. Request a unit web directory.
3. Set up your unit pages. See Step-by-Step Set-up of Unit Web Pages

Cost

Web pages are centrally funded. Remember that web pages must follow University use of facilities policies, including the proscription against using resources for commercial purposes.
