Apple Volume Purchase Program (VPP) is in place at UCSC for purchasing Apple software, including server, apps and books in volume for deployment on university owned systems & devices.  

Device Enrollment Program (DEP) provides a fast, streamlined way to deploy Apps & Software to OSX and iOS devices

With the Device Enrollment Program, large-scale deployments of iPad, iPhone, and Mac are seamless. Automate mobile device management (MDM) enrollment for every device, so that when activated, they are immediately configured with account settings, apps, and access to services over the air. There’s no need for staging services, and no need for IT to physically access each device to complete setup.

Request a VPP Program Facilitator Account ITS Software can set up a Program Facilitator for departmental purchases. If you would like access, please make a request (IT Request ticket will be created) and provide an email address to be used for the account.  Please note that this unique Apple ID can only be used for the Volume Purchase Program. This Apple ID will not allow you to buy or download content from the iTunes Store.

Request a DEP Administrator Account ITS Software can set up a DEP Administrator for your department. Use this to manage your Apple device purchases using your MDM server. If you would like an account, please make a request  (IT Request ticket will be created). Please provide an unique email address to be used for the Apple ID. Please note that this unique Apple ID can only be used for the Device Enrollment Program account. This Apple ID will not allow you to buy or download content from the iTunes Store.
