Windows 7 Firewall

Use the following steps to verify your firewall is enabled in Windows 7:

Open Control Panel and click on Windows Firewall, then verify that the Domain, Public and Private firewall profiles are enabled. Note: If your system is not a member of a Domain, you will only see profiles for Private and Public networks. Enabled profiles will show a green shield with a checkmark.

If any of your firewall profiles are not enabled, select Turn Windows Firewall on or off from the left pane. Set all available profiles to Turn on Windows Firewall.

Select OK to save your changes and exit the Control Panel.
