CruzID
Your unique and essential UCSC account, sometimes referred to as your username, that gives you access to many campus services and systems. Every student, faculty, and staff member receives a CruzID when they are hired or enrolled. Your CruzID is part of your UCSC email address (e.g., bslug@ucsc.edu), where “bslug” is the CruzID.

- New to UCSC? Log into CruzID Manager as a first time user to set your password and enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (Duo for MFA) before accessing services
- Use CruzID Manager to manage your campus notifications, emergency contacts, and passwords
- Your CruzID remains the same throughout your time at UCSC while you’re actively enrolled or employed at UC Santa Cruz
