Desktop Telephone Service

A reliable physical desk phone in your workspace for voice communication. Make and receive calls, transfer calls, and check voicemail.

  • Full-service installation of phone lines and devices in university offices
  • Includes caller ID and call forwarding
  • Voicemail is an optional service and will only be assigned to a desktop telephone when the voicemail service is requested. Send voicemail messages to your email inbox
  • Includes UCSC Conference Calling (KB) for small conferences of up to 8 people, including up to 2 off-campus parties. Use Zoom for conferencing with more off-campus parties
  • Assistance with ATT service orders is available for UCSC business offices located at sites not served by the campus telephone service

  • Service requests are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Orders should be submitted a minimum of seven business days before the date needed

The basic desktop telephone service is provided at no cost. Additional services, including voicemail, have associated costs.

  • Telephone services must be ordered through a department facilities coordinator
  • Users should not move campus phones, as they provide location data to emergency services
