Features
- Use with a Mac, PC, smartphone, or through a web browser
- Enables remote calling from your UCSC campus extension whether you’re on or off campus
- Calls display as coming from your UCSC phone number instead of your personal cell phone number
Support
- Before submitting a request, departments should determine whether staff will:
- Use MiCollab softphone as a replacement for a campus desk phone while keeping the same extension, or
- Keep their desk phone and extension and add a new MiCollab Softphone extension for an additional cost

Cost
Softphones cost a $212 one-time fee per user
Requirements
- Softphones must be ordered through a department facilities coordinator
- A FOAPAL is required to order this service
- Ensure that you meet workstation requirements
