Residential networking services including secure internet access, technical support, computer repairs, and television services for UC Santa Cruz students and Coordinators for Residential Education (CRE) staff living in college housing.

Internet access
- 24/7 wireless internet in most residence halls and apartments
- Wired connections available in Merrill College Residence Halls C+D and University Town Center (UTC)
- Support for connecting devices such as computers, smartphones, tablets, streaming devices, and gaming consoles
- Technical assistance available for any internet connectivity issues
Technical support and computer repairs
- Help with software issues and minor hardware upgrades
- Virus and malware scanning and removal (including support for DMCA and security policy compliance)
- Limited hardware support (e.g., replacing network cards, RAM, SSDs, hard drives, and graphics cards)
- Hands-on assistance for basic repairs, device maintenance, and upgrades
- Support for proper e-waste disposal
- For major repairs, please contact your device’s manufacturer or a local repair shop
Television services
- Free streaming TV through Xfinity, including HBO Max
- Support for troubleshooting Xfinity on Campus issues

Requirements
- While connected to ResWiFi, some campus services may require the use of the Campus VPN
- Students must obtain their own hardware for connecting (i.e. wireless adapters) or repairs (i.e. replacement hard drives)
