Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
A productivity suite that includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook for Windows and Mac. Office for Windows also includes Microsoft Access, Publisher, and OneNote 2016.
Students can access Microsoft’s cloud services including up to 10 GB of OneDrive cloud storage. OneDrive cloud storage is not enabled for faculty and staff. UCSC uses Google Apps for email, calendar, and cloud file storage.

Licensing information
- Students, faculty, and staff can install Microsoft 365 software on up to 5 computers, 5 phones and 5 tablets
- Microsoft is available through an agreement managed by the University of California Office of the President
- Due to support constraints, some applications have been disabled. Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis
- Other Microsoft products can be ordered at a discount under our campus agreement
- Annual Microsoft orders are placed every Spring for the campus
- Personal use is allowed
- Annual license renewal date: June 30
