The goal of National Cyber Security Awareness Month is to raise awareness about the many technology-related threats we face each day, and to learn how we can better protect our computers, our information and ourselves.

• For the technically oriented, the SANS Internet Storm Center will feature a special diary article each day in October in observance of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The theme of these articles will be "Standards and Security".
