About the Adaptive Technology Room (ATR):
The ATR is a small room located within the Cowell Apt. computer lab. This room is self-contained, providing a private environment for use of speech-to-text software on one Dell Optiplex 755 and 20" flatscreen monitor. Headphones and an ergonomic keyboard are available in the ATR. The single workstation in the ATR has assistive software installed, in collaboration with the UCSC Disabilty Resource Center.
