Web Analysis Tools
The UCSC web site, www.ucsc.edu and associated pages, collect information to improve functionality and content and to monitor performance. Data is used to help answer specific questions about the usage and performance of the web site or individual web pages. UCSC uses third party web analysis services to help gather and analyze this information.

Use of Google Analytics for Web Statistics
The UCSC web site, www.ucsc.edu and associated pages, uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).

Use of HubSpot for Web Statistics
The UCSC web site, www.ucsc.edu and associated pages also uses web analytics services provided by HubSpot. These services may include the use of Flash Cookies, which are stored on your computer, to help collect usage information for these web pages. Anonymous information from these Flash Cookies may be shared with HubSpot for the provision of their services.
End-users should be aware that browser settings that block conventional cookies may not affect Flash Cookies. However, Flash Cookies may be disabled using the Global Storage Settings panel of the online Settings Manager at Adobe's website.
