The Digital Accessibility Council guides the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of the UCSC IT Accessibility Policy Program (ITAPP), as specified in the UC IT Accessibility Policy and UC Santa Cruz’s Digital Accessibility Plan.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizes program activities, including defining vision and scope.
- Establishes, updates, and reviews program metrics, and prepares program status reports.
- Identifies program failures, issues, and successes, and surfaces these as appropriate to the executive committee.
- Consults on program, process, resource, tool, and communication decisions.
- Recommends continual improvement based on metrics and feedback.
