Adobe IDs Are Now Required To Use Creative Cloud

Starting in Summer 2019, anyone who wants to use any of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs will need an Adobe account. These accounts are free and can be created at anytime, but you will not be able to run programs like Photoshop, Illustrator or Preimere Pro without one.

Adobe ID's are different from your CruzID account, even if use the same email address for both. ITS does not manage your Adobe ID and can not reset passwords, recover lost accounts or delete old accounts. You will need to work with Adobe regarding any login/password issues.

We recommend signing up for an account before heading to the computer lab. You can do that here: https://accounts.adobe.com/

When you get to the computer lab, login to a computer like you normally do. Launch the Adobe application of your choice and you will be prompted to login with your Adobe ID:

You will also need to sign out of your Adobe account before logging out of the computer. Finish up and save anything you are working on. Then, quit all open Adobe programs. In the menu bar on the upper right side, you should see a little Creative Cloud icon. Click on that to start the logout process:

The Creative Cloud menu bar icon will turn from black to gray, showing that it is inactive.

You can then logout of the computer.
