Supplemental Audiovisual Equipment for Instruction
Additional technology that extends the capabilities of the standard Classroom Technology provided in General Assignment classrooms.
Get started
Email classroomtech@ucsc.edu to request equipment and/or in-room support. Most requests will be fulfilled within 2 days, but large or complex requests may require up to two weeks before the first scheduled use of the equipment.
Features
- Available technology includes but is not limited to:
- Catchbox wireless throwable microphones for student interactions
- Cameras or microphones for virtual interactivity
- Additional disability accommodations such as Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) and DTEN monitors for sign language interpretation (ASL)
- Depending on the need, technology can be loaned for up to a full academic quarter
