The CARS system meets data security at the P3 level, which generally includes Institutional Information and related IT Resources whose unauthorized disclosure or modification could result in small to moderate fines, penalties or civil actions (Proprietary). 

CARS is appropriate for the the following types of information:

  2. IT Security Info and Plans
  3. UC Personnel Records
  4. Attorney-Client Privileged Information
  5. Research classified as P3 by the IRB
