Audio-Visual Equipment
Audio-visual equipment is available for checkout by current UCSC students, faculty and staff from the ITS/Learning technologies checkout facility.
Canvas
Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) that integrates digital tools and resources for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of educational courses and training programs.
Classroom Support

Computer Labs
There are twelve ITS Learning Technologies computer labs across campus. These lab spaces are used for scheduled UCSC classes, general drop-in/open-use for UCSC students, and summer conferences.
Distance Education
Videoconferencing for distance education classes is available in three general assignment classrooms: Jack Baskin Engineering 156 (35 seats), Engineering 2 192 (50 seats) and Engineering 2 194 (50 Seats).
Faculty Instructional Technology Center
The Faculty Instructional Technology Center (FITC) is located in the McHenry Library on the first floor. FITC offers instructors, graduate students and support staff a collection of related services and flexible spaces supporting instructional technologies.
MyUCSC
MyUCSC is the university's online academic information systems portal for students, faculty, and staff.
Lecture Capture
This service records what the projector is displaying along with the audio from the instructor’s microphone. There is an option to also include the feed from a camera that is pointed at the front of the room.
Scantron Scoring
Scantron test scoring service is available to the UCSC campus. This service is fee-based and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yuja
The YuJa media management system provides tools for creating, storing, and sharing media content.
