Get Connected

FSH residents are encouraged to use ResWiFi as it supports WPA2/3-Enterprise / 802.1X EAP secruity. FSH residents with non-802.1X capable devices should connect to FSH-Family. The FSH-Family SSID may also be used by non-affiliates (including but not limited to partners, children, and other adult occupants) without CruzID Gold credentials. Unlike ResWiFi, FSH-Family is not encrypted and may not be able to access some University resources. To connect to FSH-Family:

  • Network Name (SSID): FSH-Family
  • Security: WPA2-PSK (WPA2 Personal)
  • Password (PSK): SlugFamily
  • MAC address randomization: disabled (recommended)

Please note personally owned WiFi routers are not allowed in residential areas with FSH-Family.
