ITS is pleased to announce the appointment of Phyllis Treige as the division's new chief experience officer (CXO). Phyllis will join ITS on Monday, February 8, 2021.
Phyllis will be responsible for the digital and technology experience design for UCSC. She will be a member of the Vice Chancellor, Information & Technology Leadership Team and will collaborate with other campus leaders to coordinate and create a cohesive digital experience for all campus constituents.
Phyllis comes to UCSC with 18 years of experience in design and technology leadership. Most recently she was the Director of the Center for User Experience at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She developed a campus-wide digital accessibility program, and led a team that partnered across the university to help untangle wicked problems and design human-centered, born accessible experiences. Her leadership, skills and passion will be great additions to the ITS Division.
