Help us out by participating in a short online activity to better organize our IT service offerings on the Information Technology Services (ITS) website so they are easier to find and use. 
About the activity
- It will only take a few minutes to complete.
- Complete the activity before the end of day April 16, 2023
- Responses are confidential but we will ask you to identify your UCSC role and affiliation to help us in our analysis.
- There are no right or wrong answers. Just do what comes naturally to you.
Instructions
- Begin the activity on Optimal Workshop
- You will see 24 rectangular shaped cards on the left side of the page that represent IT service offerings.
- Hover your mouse/cursor over each card, select, and drag it into one of the nine categories provided in the center of the page that you think best represents where the service should go.
- For example, you might select “computer labs” and place it into the “Teaching and Learning” category.
- Complete the selection for all 24 cards.
- You can reorganize your choices before finishing the activity.
Please note you will need to complete the sorting activity in one session and will not be able to save your progress.
The Optimal Workshop interface requires the use of a mouse to sort the cards. If you require keyboard navigation, please contact ITS staff member, Meghan Sitar at mesitar@ucsc.edu and she will provide a spreadsheet option for sorting.
