The campus is conducting an assessment of UC Santa Cruz’s digital accessibility to understand the current state and identify opportunities for improvement. To gather a diversity of perspectives, everyone at UCSC is encouraged to participate in the upcoming listening sessions. Even if you aren’t familiar with digital accessibility, disability status, or involvement in accessibility services, you are welcome.
Participate in a listening session
- Dates: Multiple sessions on February 26-28 (click the link below to see options)
- Format: Zoom and in-person
- Duration: 30-50 minutes per session, drop-in anytime during the session

Listening session format
The listening sessions will be facilitated by Access4All, a consortium of higher education accessibility experts from Rutgers, the University of Iowa, and North Carolina State University. The facilitators will introduce the topic and ask questions about:
- Awareness of digital accessibility policies and processes
- Access to training and resources available
- Ways to optimize support for digital accessibility in the future
How will the information be used
Your participation in these information-gathering sessions is crucial. The insights gained will play a pivotal role in shaping broader strategic planning efforts for digital accessibility, ultimately improving the quality and effectiveness of the support and digital services we provide to our UCSC community.
