Your Voice Matters: Join Accessibility Listening Sessions

February 06, 2024

UC Santa Cruz has a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and thriving community, and our digital environment plays an increasingly important role in ensuring full and equitable access for individuals with disabilities and access needs.

The campus is conducting an assessment of UC Santa Cruz’s digital accessibility to understand the current state and identify opportunities for improvement. To gather a diversity of perspectives, everyone at UCSC is encouraged to participate in the upcoming listening sessions. Even if you aren’t familiar with digital accessibility, disability status, or involvement in accessibility services, you are welcome.

  • Awareness of digital accessibility policies and processes
  • Access to training and resources available
  • Ways to optimize support for digital accessibility in the future

How will the information be used

Your participation in these information-gathering sessions is crucial. The insights gained will play a pivotal role in shaping broader strategic planning efforts for digital accessibility, ultimately improving the quality and effectiveness of the support and digital services we provide to our UCSC community.
