New! Use CruzID Gold to Connect to the University Library Resources
Beginning September 18, you are able to connect to library resources using your CruzID and Gold password (same password as MyUCSC, CruzPay, Campus Directory). This will eventually replace the current method of logging in with your barcode. You can also use the Campus VPN.
Why?
- No library barcode required! Use your CruzID Gold to access the off-campus Access Proxy.
- This method is more secure, helping to ensure that the university will maintain access to licensed content.
- This change is in preparation to retire the less secure library barcode login option.
- This complements the Campus VPN service by providing an alternate access method.
