Electronic Communications Annual Report

The University does not examine or disclose electronic communications records without the holder's consent, except under the limited circumstances defined in the UC Electronic Communications Policy (ECP) and UCSC Implementation of the UC Electronic Communications Policy (ECPI)

UC Santa Cruz will release the Electronic Communications Annual Report at the beginning of each fiscal year. This report documents the number of requests and approvals for non-consensual access to UCSC electronic communications, including email, calendar, online document collaboration and storage, as well as individual computing devices, for the previous fiscal year.

 This annual report summarizes instances of authorized or emergency nonconsensual access to electronic communications.
