UC Cyber Security Awareness Fundamentals Training

All employees of UCSC, including vendors/suppliers/contractors, are required to take the UC Cybersecurity Awareness Fundamentals training. This training provides information on some of the most common cybersecurity threats to individuals and the university.

The training will take approximately 40 minutes to complete, and you do not need to complete the course in one sitting. The system will remember your progress.

Access the Training

Login to the UC Learning Center at http://learningcenter.ucsc.edu/
  • Sign in with your UCSC login and Gold password.
  • Use the search box, type in "UC Cyber Security Awareness Fundamentals".
  • The course name and description will appear; be sure to select the appropriate learning language.
  • Click "Start" to launch the course; note that you must enable cookies in order for the course to begin.
