With the implementation of the Gender Recognition and Lived Name (GRLN) Policy, your lived name will be displayed and used across UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) technology systems on or before June 30, 2024, unless a legal name is required. A lived name is a name you want to be known by, which may be different from your legal name.
Since early June, the UCSC Campus Directory displays names from UCPath (for faculty and staff) and MyUCSC (for students). We encourage you to review your listing in the Campus Directory to ensure your name and other information is accurate
