UC Santa Cruz IT Recovery Levels
Overview
In accordance with UC's IS-12: IT recovery policy, university data (also known as institutional information) and IT resources essential to UC Santa Cruz's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) must be classified into one of five Recovery Levels that indicate optimal timelines for recovery based on the importance of data and IT resources to the BCP.
Unit IT Recovery Leads (UITRLs) must assign a Recovery Level Classification to institutional information and IT resources essential to UC Santa Cruz's BCP using the levels in the section below.
Recovery Level Classifications
The IS-12: IT recovery policy establishes the following five Recovery Level Classifications:
