The Science DMZ team is piloting Ceph for big-data transfer and data warehousing.

As a shared resource, there will be some limits on how much data can be stored by each user, and for how long. The Science DMZ support team is considering a quota of 50TB per user, and that files more than 30 days old will be deleted. Enforcement of these ground rules may be deferred until we have implemented the Globus solution for transferring files to Google.
