MiCollab is a softphone service that departments can choose to use instead of desk phones. The MiCollab Softphone service is a software application that runs on a computer or mobile device and functions as a UCSC campus extension but without the physical desk phone.

This allows you to make and receive calls from your workstation or mobile phone using your campus extension.

  • More flexibility and greater mobility for those people who are frequently on the go or work remotely.
  • Make calls from your campus extension remotely using a desktop computer, laptop or mobile device.
  • Receive calls to your campus extension remotely, using your desktop computer, laptop or mobile device.
  • Calls are routed to/from UCSC phone numbers, not personal mobile phone numbers.

Cost: $212 one time fee per user
