How to Update the Sophos SafeGuard Client:
Updating the Sophos SafeGuard client is important to make sure ITS can continue to provide quality encryption service. With each major OS update (e.g. macOS 10.10 -> 10.12) new versions of Sophos SafeGuard are also released to maintain compatiblity. If you are managed by BigFix this does not apply to you. This is only required if you followed the "Manual Encryption with Key Escrow (Personally owned devices)" process from ITS to enable encryption.
