The UC Accessibility in the Electronic Environment initiative includes a web site, Design Accessible Web Sites to help web developers understand how to make their sites accessible. It includes information about Section 508 (the recommended web standard), design tips, technical tools, and resources.

- World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative: This site has a vast amount of useful information, in a well-organized manner
- Accessible Drop Down Menu: highly-customizable and very accessible Javascript based menu system that can but dropped into almost any framework.
- Adobe's Accessibility Resource Center contains tutorials for creating accessible Flash sites, PDFs and InDesign documents.
- Section 508 Electronic & Information Technology homepage contains the latest version of the current federal web site standards.
- reCAPTCHA: This is an alternative to visual CAPTCHAs that does a reasonably good job of producing an audio option. It is not difficult to implement in a variety of scripting languages.
