Emergency Kit Notes

  • In Oakes 105 the data projector kit works in the 4th row back.
  • In NSA 101, put the data projector on the overhead cart directly in front of the slide projector cabinet.

Classroom Quirks

  • Smart Panels have three-hour timeouts. Push any button on the panel to reset the timer.
  • The new electronic locks will shut down for 10 seconds if the code is entered incorrectly 3 times in a row. During this time they will be completely unresponsive.

Classroom Computers

Logging on to the manager account

Mac
  1. At the Login Screen, press back until you see the user icon and name without a password box
  2. Press the down arrow, which will highlight the name 'User'
  3. Hold option and press Enter to bring up a dialog box where you can type in 'manager' and the password.
