ITS provides discounted access to Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is a broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 full-featured infrastructure and application services from AWS. Services are billed via a pay-as-you-go pricing model with no upfront investment.

Cloud Computing Services services include: 

• Account access to UC-wide discounts on compute storage, AWS support and training
• Internal team of AWS Cloud architects to consult, provide assistance or troubleshoot building and/or migrating workloads

Requirements

• AWS Cloud Account set-up required using a UC Santa Cruz FOAPAL for billing.
• AWS has a shared responsibility model for information security and compliance. If you're not comfortable sharing these responsibilities, consult with your ITS Divisional Liaison.
