Benefits and Features

  • Reduced IT costs: Virtualization allows for greater utilization of existing resources, saving money both on upfront hardware costs and on maintenance costs.
  • Redundancy and increased reliability: With virtual server hosting, there is no physical hardware dependency. Added opportunity for IT service continuity in the event of a disaster. Backup service available.
  • Reduced power consumption: Virtualizing servers decreases the number of physical boxes that the university must use, reducing cooling and electrical costs.
  • Enhanced security: Encryption, video surveillance, and restricted access to the data center environment ensures the protection of your sensitive data and applications. Available for IS3 P1-P4 data and higher regulatory requirements (with consultation).
  • Flexibility and agility: Scale your system to meet demand without downtime or disruption.
