Sign in to Multiple Google Accounts

UCSC Google Suite of services (campus email, calendar, drive, groups, etc...) is now using the CruzID Gold password as of August 26, 2019. In addition, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be required by all active UCSC affiliates by October 21, 2019. Due to these new requirements, the process for logging in to multiple Google accounts has changed.

When UCSC implemented the change to move all UCSC Google Suite applications to the Gold Password, users who access accounts with shared passwords were impacted. Logging in to an application that uses the Gold Password requires Single Sign-On (SSO) and MFA authentication. Because this security feature is in place, a person cannot be logged into two or more accounts ending with @ucsc.edu in the same browser window.
