Microsoft Windows 10 was released in July 2015.
Windows 10 Education Edition is the default operating system for UCSC Windows computers.
Cortana Support
Cortana is Microsoft's voice personal assistant built into Windows 10. Due to privacy concerns, we are disabling Cortana on Windows 10 computers. We will periodically re-assess these concerns and may enable Cortana functionality in the future.

Web Browser Support
Microsoft provides two web browsers with Windows 10: Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge. Edge does not support Java, so campus business systems that use Java should continue to use IE 11.
