Apple's most recent operating system, macOS Sonoma (14.0), was released on September 26th, 2023.

ITS is currently testing Sonoma with campus business systems and applications. We will announce when it is safe to update your Mac.

  • iMac 2019 and later
  • iMac Pro 2017
  • MacBook Pro 2018 and later
  • Mac Pro 2019 and later
  • Mac Mini 2018 and later
  • MacBook Air 2018 and later
  • Mac Studio 2022 and later

 Sonoma can not run on:

  • iMac 2017 or earlier
  • MacBook models from 2017 or earlier
  • MacBook Pro models from 2017 or earlier
